Seeking For People With Common Interests – Here Comes Dr. Brian E. Dixon, Assistant Professor Of Indiana University




Dr. Brian E. Dixon, Health Informatics, Department of BioHealth Informatics, School of Informatics and Computing, Indiana University, USA, visited Shulan Hospital on Aug, 21st. Dr. Dixon praised Shulan Hospital, and said it’s so impressive!

After seeing hospital environments, Dr. Dixon had an in-depth discussion on current application and development of big data and artificial intelligence in medical area with Zheng Jie, president of Shulan Health, Jiang Wei, vice-president of Shulan Health, and Ju Bin, Vice-President of WOWJOY Technology.

Shulan Health advocates Intelligent Hospital Management Information System, focus on providing patient a continuous and instant personal life cloud EHR – building a Body Information Modeling based on complete life data. This coincides with Dr. Dickson's point of view. He said, “One of my purposes is to find someone who has the same interest and same mission with me. And do medical big data together.”

In addition, Dr. Dixon also gave a lecture named “The Neolithic Revolution in Public Health Surveillance: From Case Reporting Towards Deep Learning” to Shulan Staff.
